Dear parents and guardians of Adams City High School,
I would like to inform you of a staffing change at Adams City High School designed to strengthen our academic performance and school culture.
On Friday, February 22, Veronica “BJ” Jeffers assumed the duties of Principal of Operations for Adams City High School. Ms. Jeffers will oversee safety and security, discipline, culture and climate, and all other aspects of school operations, allowing me to focus on academic instruction and assessment.
Ms. Jeffers brings 18 years of experience in education administration and has served the district in a variety of roles including Principal of Kearney Middle School. Most recently she has served as a mentor for district principals. I am delighted to serve as co-Principal with her.
Moving forward, I will focus on all matters related to academic instruction, assessment and college readiness. As our students move into testing season, the addition of Ms. Jeffers to our leadership team will help us achieve an even stronger finish to the academic year.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Gabriella Maldonado, Ed.S.
Principal of Instruction
